A highly regarded boutique law firm within the projects, energy and infrastructure sector is seeking to engage an experienced Project Finance Lawyer on a remote consultancy basis, supporting a strong pipeline of work across the Gulf. This opportunity is aimed at lawyers with upwards of 8 years’ PQE who bring deep project finance expertise and are looking for a more flexible, portfolio-style way of working. You will play a key role in advising on complex, cross-border transactions, often linked to large-scale infrastructure and energy developments. The role offers genuine autonomy, with responsibility for managing matters end-to-end, and will suit individuals comfortable operating at a senior level without day-to-day supervision. Consultants can expect an initial flow of work equivalent to circa 20 hours per week, with the likelihood of this increasing as demand grows. The workload will involve project finance elements of PPP and infrastructure projects across Gulf region. As such, prior regional experience is essential.

Requirements
Qualified in England & Wales, or other commonwealth juristidictions such as Australia and/or New Zealand, for example
8+ years’ PQE with a strong grounding in project finance
Proven experience advising on projects across the Gulf region
Background in a leading international or City law firm
Confident working independently with strong commercial judgement
Interest in flexible, consultancy-based legal work
