Based in Charlotte, this role requires a seasoned leader to bridge the gap between technical engineering and high-level project management. You will serve as a strategic lead for nuclear plant design initiatives, supervising engineering staff and ensuring that all deliverables meet strict quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Team Oversight: Direct and mentor engineering teams, ensuring full compliance with internal standards, project protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Project Execution: Own the lifecycle of engineering tasks, balancing rigorous schedules and budgets while maintaining quality control
  • Technical Authority: Identify technical roadblocks early, analyzing potential risks to implement effective solutions before they impact the project critical path
  • Client Interfacing: Act as a primary technical liaison, presenting status updates and progress reports to clients and senior leadership
  • Resource Coordination: Collaborate across functional groups to ensure the right capabilities are leveraged for project success
