Job Responsibility:

  • prepare and discuss with the Project Team and the Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life
  • cooperate and coordinate with the Project Engineering Manager and the other Project Leaders to create and maintain the project procedures and ensure their application in conformity with general department guidelines and applicable standards
  • ensure the coordination of the activities of the discipline regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers, guaranteeing the consistency of the documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned budget (both cost and man-hours) and the quality of the deliverables under the guidance of the Project Engineering Manager and cooperating with the other Project Lead Engineers
  • supervise and participate actively in the drafting of the project technical specifications, requests for tenders, tabulations and technical follow-up of supplies
  • interface with the Customer and Suppliers of materials and services for all the technical aspects related to their discipline
  • guarantee assistance to the construction activities during the construction and commissioning of the plant

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer PE registered with the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board or Texas Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors in disciplines: AR (Architectural), CH (Chemical), EE (Electrical), ME (Mechanical), FP (Fire Protection)
  • engineering technical degree is required
  • minimum 10 years of experience in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering in plant engineering companies in the petrochemical, oil & gas, power
  • at least two years of experience as a project leader
  • experience in construction and commissioning activities as electrical field supervisor
  • experience in coordinating international working groups distributed in different locations
  • fluent English speaker and writer
  • availability to travel for short and long period in Italy and abroad

  • Independently create layouts, detailed designs, plans, specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, tanks and other water and wastewater storage and conveyance systems
  • Engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, planning work, establish appropriate design methods, report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection and working directly with the owner
  • Calculate and prepare engineering documents for respective engineering discipline, including details, schedules and cost estimates for projects, performing life cycle cost analyses, performing hydraulic analysis calculations and developing hydraulic profiles, and coordinating with CADD technicians for construction plan production
  • The selection and application of engineering systems and materials in accordance with the latest governing codes applicable to the project type will be required
