Senior Project Engineer Location: Sellafield site with travel to Hinton House or Hinton with travel to Sellafield. Project: IDP We have an exciting internal opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, safe and efficient project outcomes. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical leadership, driving delivery, and building strong relationships with our customers and supply chain. As Senior Project Engineer, you will take ownership of the design development, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and documentation of the electrical elements across one or more projects. You’ll also play a proactive role in overall programme, commercial performance and Perfect Delivery outcomes. Requirements:
BTEC HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
CSCS Site Supervisor Gold Card
Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
Experience in materials procurement, subcontract management and site installation
Understanding of construction contracts and procedures
Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
Strong technical knowledge and specialist understanding of electrical engineering
