Job Description:

Soliton is a high-technology software company working with the top semiconductor industries in the world, looking for a Senior Developer - Python. The Senior Developer will use their core Python experience to implement solutions for multiple applications in the Semiconductor, Medical, Automotive, High-Tech Capital Equipment and Manufacturing industries. The applicant can expect to work with some of the most innovative companies in the Fortune 500 list and gain vast experience in Test and Measurement Automation. This role will require the developer to bring out the technical best in their team, with a clear understanding of customer expectations and long-term vision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with the Agile team to achieve a common goal
  • Setting yourself up for high standards of quality, with significant attention to detail
  • Understanding the requirements and priorities from customers
  • Breaking down the requirements, providing the detailed estimation and plan
  • Identifying and handling technical risks and issues
  • Putting the detailed Design with required prototypes by exploring new concepts
  • Write code with expected standards, develop & debug, and design user interfaces
  • Working with teams to get Design, Code, and Usability reviews
  • Demoing to clients and providing high quality deliverables with required documentation
  • Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members
  • Participating in project meetings with management and other team members
  • Generating innovative ideas and proposing to the clients with impact analysis

Requirements:

  • Proven Python Programming Experience of 3-5 years with Engineering Graduation
  • Experience in building web applications with Python
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Good understanding of Python Design Patterns
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks, specifically pytest
  • Good understanding of test and measurement fundamentals
  • Eagerness to stay updated on the latest Python trends and emerging technologies through active participation in online forums, courses, or communities
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
