Senior Project Engineer - Housing Project

• Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver full project management services for assigned onshore and offshore projects, from inception through completion and handover
• Prepare, implement, and maintain Project Execution Plans and QHSE Plans for assigned projects
• Participate in and oversee planning, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, progress reporting, change management, and gate approval processes
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve cost-effective designs through timely resolution of technical and engineering issues
• Participate in the preparation of tender packages, manage the tendering process, evaluate submissions, and provide recommendations to the relevant Tender Committees
• Develop, maintain, and update project risk registers to ensure risks are properly identified, managed, and mitigated
• Interface closely with end users and key stakeholders, including government and statutory authorities, joint ventures, and other third-party entities
• Participate in the assessment and resolution of variations and contractors’ claims
• Contribute to the review and development of procedures and guidelines, as assigned
• Mentor Qatari developees by providing structured on-the-job training to support their professional development and maximize their potential

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university
• a higher degree is an advantage
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering and/or project management institution is an added advantage
• Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in engineering, project management, and execution of civil engineering projects
• Proven experience in engineering coordination with multidisciplinary teams during Feasibility and Concept Optimization Studies, FEED, and EPIC phases
• Strong communication and team-building skills, including presentations, report writing, and effective meeting management

Membership in a recognized professional engineering and/or project management institution is an added advantage
