Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and coordinate Project Teams to deliver full project management services for assigned onshore/offshore projects, from inception to completion and handover
  • Prepare and implement Project Execution Plans and QHSE Plans
  • Monitor and participate in planning, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, progress reporting, change management, and gate approval processes
  • Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver cost-effective designs through timely resolution of technical issues
  • Support preparation of tender packages, tendering activities, evaluation of bids, and provide recommendations to Tender Committees
  • Develop, maintain, and update project risk registers to ensure risks are effectively mitigated
  • Interface closely with End Users, government and statutory authorities, JV partners, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in the assessment and resolution of variations and contractor claims
  • Contribute to the review and development of procedures and guidelines, as assigned
  • Mentor and develop Qatari Developees, ensuring effective on-the-job training and capability building

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of oil & gas projects
  • Strong experience in engineering coordination across multiple disciplines during Feasibility Studies, Concept Optimization, FEED, and EPIC phases
  • Proven communication, presentation, report writing, and meeting management skills

Nice to have:

  • Higher degree is advantageous
  • Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management institution is an added advantage
