Job Description:

Soliton is a high-technology software company working with top semiconductor industries worldwide, seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Full Stack . The role requires strong experience in frontend frameworks (Angular or React) and backend development using Python to deliver web-based solutions across the Semiconductor, Medical, Automotive, High-Tech Capital Equipment, and Manufacturing domains.

Job Responsibility:

  • Interact with customers to understand business and technical requirements and contribute to documenting Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) for web applications
  • Breakdown the requirement at a module level into a list of development tasks and estimate the necessary effort
  • Own the execution of the Project
  • Perform code, design reviews & follow the necessary standards
  • Create detailed technical designs with inputs from the technical lead and drive prototype or proof-of-concept development for web solutions as required
  • Ensure web applications are tested at unit, integration, and system levels, identify defects, and fix issues before customer delivery
  • Follow standard build, release, and deployment practices for web applications to ensure smooth and timely delivery
  • Actively participate in customer discussions and internal reviews, provide regular status updates, and respond promptly to customer communications
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers on Angular/React and Python development through reviews, technical support, and constructive feedback
  • Adhere to defined development processes and actively contribute to process improvements and compliance

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in web technology stacks such as Javascript (React/Angular) and Python
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS for building responsive and accessible UI
  • Familiarity with source control tools like Git, SVN, or Perforce

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with databases
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Hands-on experience with hardware integration
  • Exposure to Linux environments
  • Experience delivering large-scale applications with Angular/React on the frontend and Python-based backend services
