Our client is seeking a proactive Senior Project Coordinator to join their Wellington team. This dynamic role acts as the technical 'go-to' for SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, managing complex access requirements for external partners while providing essential backup to the workstream's senior leadership.
Job Responsibility:
Manage SharePoint and Teams access, troubleshooting issues for internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate, research, and prepare timely responses for Official Information Act (OIA) requests
Draft high-quality Ministerial replies and external queries for Programme Director approval
Support the Programme Lead with logistics, reporting, and RAID log management
Prioritise workflows to ensure all Ministerial and legislative deadlines are consistently met
Collaborate with the Ministerial Advisor to peer review and track correspondence
Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams administration and troubleshooting
Proven experience drafting OIA responses and Ministerial correspondence within the public sector
Strong understanding of NZ Government machinery, parliamentary processes, and relevant legislation
Excellent written communication skills with a focus on accuracy and political acumen
Demonstrated ability to build credible relationships and manage stakeholders under pressure
Organised with a proactive 'can-do' attitude and sound judgement
Legally entitled to work in New Zealand at the time of application
