Job Description

The Senior Project Coordinator, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts is a part of the CreateSA First Nations team, reporting to the Manager, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts. The role is responsible for providing advice and assisting with coordinating, monitoring and the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring quality outcomes are achieved on time and within budget. The role works closely with other CreateSA staff to ensure that its work reflects best cultural practice and meets South Australian Government objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Contributes to the delivery of the Aboriginal Arts Strategy
  • Manages projects to deliver the Strategy in consultation with stakeholders
  • Support the South Australian arts, cultural & creative sector to thrive and grow
  • Provides advice and assists with coordinating, monitoring and the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Ensures quality outcomes are achieved on time and within budget

Requirements

  • Open to applicants of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent only
  • Provides advice and assists with coordinating, monitoring and the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Works closely with other CreateSA staff to ensure work reflects best cultural practice and meets South Australian Government objectives
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required
  • Requires a National Criminal History check
