We are seeking a Senior Project Control Officer (PCO) to support the Client Program. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers to maintain rigorous control over project scope, timelines, and costs. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented professional capable of managing small projects independently while providing high-level coordination for large-scale clinical data initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and manage critical project documents including charters, integrated project plans, agendas, minutes, and lessons learned
Apply project cost accounting principles to manage budgets, review financial health, and validate vendor invoicing
Proactively identify, track, and follow up on team commitments, risks, and issues within the project logs
Prepare and track technical Requests for Change (RFCs) and Project Change Requests (PCRs) related to scope, schedule, or budget adjustments
Manage the project onboarding/offboarding process, grant vendor access to tools, and ensure the project document repository (MS Teams/SharePoint) is meticulously maintained
Lead and control meetings, keeping discussions focused on goals, and build strong relationships with internal business units and external partners
Support the creation of detailed work streams by engaging subject matter experts and suggesting performance improvement strategies to the Senior PM
Requirements:
College diploma or university degree in a related field
3–5 years of project coordination or PCO experience specifically within an IT Organization
3–5 years of demonstrated knowledge in project cost accounting and budget management
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Teams) and project management software such as MS Project or Planview
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to facilitate conflict resolution and manage stakeholder expectations
Strong multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to support multiple project managers concurrently
Nice to have:
