Job Description:

As a Senior Leader, you will be accountable for our most Complex transition and transformation ICT (Information Communication Technology) change programmes from pre-sales to in-life services, planning and delivering successful outcomes for Vodafone and our customers. The Senior Programme Manager will lead autonomously, setting the direction and roadmap, providing thought leadership and strategies to influence and realise the programme benefits and outcomes, driving best-in-class practice and developing our people across the group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for our most Complex transition and transformation ICT change programmes from pre-sales to in-life services
  • Lead autonomously, setting the direction and roadmap, providing thought leadership and strategies
  • Direct line management and leadership of project resources
  • Establishes strong relationships across Vodafone, customers and vendors at all levels
  • Leads large matrix teams across Vodafone, customers and vendors
  • Works with the bid team to define delivery strategies
  • Leads the programme response on Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Provides a consultative approach during the bid
  • Plans, creates and directs the team to deliver the programme roadmap and strategy
  • Takes full accountability leading and driving best practice and compliance to governance and policies
  • Drives revenue and margin improvements through a deep understanding of the contract, and Profit and Loss (P&L)
  • Establishes and manages budgets, deliverables, milestones and timescales
  • Assesses and evaluates Programme Issues, Risks, Dependencies and defines strategies to manage impact
  • Identifies and leads on lessons learned/continuous improvement driving efficiencies and productivity

Requirements:

  • Extensive track record in delivering large/complex, multi-tower, customer facing, ICT programmes
  • Pre-sales experience, leading and shaping Delivery strategies to clients
  • Experience in responding to bid PQQs and RFPs
  • Evidence margin and revenue improvements across Programmes
  • Provides a QA and consultative approach to leading the team
  • Strong and robust Programme reporting with a focus on Risk, Issues, Dependencies and impact on benefits and outcomes
  • Create and develop high performing teams
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports
  • MSP Practitioner
  • Prince 2 Practitioner and/or PMI PMP
  • Eligible for SC clearance

Six Sigma and Agile experience is desirable
