This is a key position that supports the consistent delivery of individual projects within a programme of work. The role will initially focus on South Korea but may expand to cover the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The client is a global multinational company, and JLL provides comprehensive end-to-end services for them. This role requires extensive interaction with client stakeholders in Korea and other APAC locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for governance, oversight, and implementation of programmes of work, with particular focus on pre-initiation activities including internal business case preparation, approval processes, and project pipeline management as well as project oversight during construction. The programme scope includes a diverse range of projects that extend beyond traditional corporate interior and workplace projects. These projects include manufacturing and production facilities (cleanroom construction and upgrades, facility expansions), specialized research and development facilities, and mission-critical infrastructure.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client across the programme of work
Manage key stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication across all client business units
Monitor compliance with the client's standard practices, processes, and templates for project management
Oversee collection and analysis of programme and project information to support decision-making
Promote continuous quality monitoring and drive improvements across projects and documentation
Drive effective communication and coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
Coordinate key activities and meetings to ensure smooth and efficient project execution
Collaborate with and oversee project teams and client stakeholders during each project phase
Guide project teams to deliver according to specifications, on schedule, and within budget
Attend meetings including senior leadership steering committees
Support project planning through initiation by preparing project budgets and helping define scope and schedules
Lead the client's business approval process
Maintain a current project pipeline for review with relevant client stakeholders
Implement project controls
Proactively resolve delivery issues and escalate problems appropriately
Support procurement activities
Review payment applications
Ensure scope and budget changes are reported and managed
Ensure structured handover and closeout
Advocate for and ensure compliance with health and safety best practices
Support sustainability commitments
Oversee project team performance regarding risk management
Manage vendor performance according to contractual frameworks
Oversee quality control processes
Ensure Project Managers follow client requirements for project documentation
Support creation and sharing of lessons learned and knowledge transfer
Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years post-graduate experience in capital works and/or programmes within complex multinational client organizations
Experience delivering or overseeing multiple high-value projects ($25M+ USD capital spend)
Previous experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or related high-tech industries
Understanding of cleanroom environments, specialized manufacturing processes, and mission-critical facility requirements
Fluent Korean and English (both written and spoken) to a professional technical standard
Strong digital literacy and experience using project management information systems
University degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field
Nice to have:
Additional languages are advantageous
Experience delivering non-standard spaces such as cleanrooms, laboratories, data centers, manufacturing facilities, specialized R&D centers, and mission-critical infrastructure
Familiarity with semiconductor industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements for hazardous materials handling
Experience working with senior executives, technical specialists, and cross-cultural teams in multinational environments
Strong numerical skills with experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting for large-scale projects
