Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead, organize, and monitor inter-connected, high-value IT projects within a major transformation portfolio. This role focuses on championing the principles of Stability, Scalability, Solutioning, Sustainability, and Security. You will be responsible for translating executive expectations into program deliverables, managing complex inter-dependencies, and overseeing the full lifecycle of application development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has over a decade of experience navigating matrix environments and leading multidisciplinary teams to meet long-term strategic goals.

Job Responsibility:

Recommend and implement suitable strategies for communication, procurement, resourcing, and implementation
Coordinate cross-project activities and manage external project dependencies
Develop and control master milestones, budgets, and schedules for multiple strategic projects
Monitor program performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Act as the primary liaison between project teams and senior executive management
Lead the development of critical program documents, including RFx, Vendor Contracts, Statements of Work (SoW), and MOUs
Analyze the organizational environment to prioritize risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Lead actions to overcome resistance to change
Supervise and coach a multidisciplinary team, including other Project Managers

Requirements:

Extensive experience in Program Leadership or Senior Project Management, managing large-scale IT projects of significant complexity and value
Proven track record across all stages of application development projects, from initiation through to closing and transition to operations
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Expert knowledge of project management tools for planning and implementation
Experience in Matrix environments

Nice to have:

Professional Engineering (P.Eng) or ITIL certifications are considered strong assets
experience with enterprise project management software is a definite asset
familiarity with Agile is a plus
