We are looking for a high-impact Senior Program Manager to drive a large-scale technology modernisation initiative for one of Parser’s Fortune 500 clients. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and change management, ensuring alignment between engineering, product, and commercial goals. In this role you will be responsible for guiding the client through strategic decision-making, ensuring they stay focused on the right priorities, and driving measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Execution & Delivery Ownership: Own end-to-end delivery outcomes, having accountability for meeting commitments on time, within scope, and aligned to business impact, as well as defining governance, prioritisation, and decision-making frameworks.
Setting, aligning, and continuously managing expectations across scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes, as well as translating technical realities into clear business expectations and addressing misalignment early.
Develop and own a single source of truth for plans, progress, risks, and decisions to ensure clarity and consistency across stakeholders.
Establish clear communication cadences and formats, ensuring transparent reporting of progress and risks, and maintaining stakeholder confidence through clear and consistent narratives.
Responsible for handling trade-offs, delays, and scope changes, and for pushing back when necessary to keep decisions grounded in reality.
Work closely with the Technical Lead and SMEs to define a clear roadmap and execution plan.
Own the business impact assessment of modernisation efforts—measuring cost savings, key metrics improvements, and operational efficiencies.
Client Strategy & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders (CTO, VP Engineering, VP Growth, VP Product) on modernisation efforts.
Align technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring modernisation and other initiatives, drive efficiency, scalability, and revenue growth.
Identify risks, trade-offs, and ROI of different pathways.
Engagement Leadership & Change Management: Drive the transition from legacy systems to a scalable, flexible platform, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and commercial teams.
Reinforce the why behind modernisation, ensuring continued executive buy-in and focus.
Requirements:
Strategic Thinker: You can connect the dots between technology, business objectives, and growth.
Strong Stakeholder Management: You have 8+ years of experience working with C-level executives and driving alignment across complex organisations.
Change Management Expertise: You understand how to navigate resistance and ensure successful adoption of new technologies. You also have the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects.
Technology & Product Acumen: You’re comfortable discussing backend, frontend, infrastructure, and Operations modernisation in a business context.
Commercial & Business-Driven: You can quantify the impact of technical decisions in terms of revenue, cost savings, and scalability.
Contract and Financial Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients. Also, monitor performance and conduct regular reviews to identify areas for improvement. Plan and report financial progress. Potentially resolve any financial and billing issues.
Team management: Work closely with project teams, including engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end project management process, from initiation to deployment.
