Job Description

The Senior Program Manager will operationalize and govern the Architecture & Technology Board within Service Delivery, ensuring structured evaluation, disciplined decision-making, and effective implementation of architectural and technology direction across the BCSS Service Delivery Organization. This role serves as the central orchestration layer across Enterprise Architects, Application Architects, the Services Engineering team, and other stakeholders, ensuring cohesive, disciplined, and outcome-driven architecture governance.

Job Responsibility

  • Establish and institutionalize the operating model, cadence, and governance framework of the board
  • Structure architecture and technology review sessions with clear scope and expected outcomes
  • Ensure preparation discipline, documentation rigor, and decision traceability
  • Track actions and ensure closure on agreed architectural outcomes
  • Moderate forums where engineering teams present business use cases and proposed solutions
  • Drive discussions toward structured architectural guidance and actionable feedback
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, platform strategy, and transformation priorities
  • Maintain governance rigor without creating approval bottlenecks
  • Drive cross-unit alignment across SD/SDU, MAs, SAs, GFGS, Enterprise Architects, and the Services Engineering team to ensure coherent architectural direction and transparent decision-making
  • Support architects in defining and formalizing architectural principles and guardrails
  • Ensure practical adoption and implementation of agreed guidelines
  • Identify gaps in reuse, standardization, and technology coherence across initiatives

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Program Management within technology-led environments
  • Proven experience working closely with Enterprise Architecture and Software Engineering teams and Domain Automation Teams
  • Strong understanding of Ericsson Business Processes, Automations, architecture governance, SDLC, and complex integration ecosystems
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and structured documentation capabilities
  • Ability to rapidly ramp up on BCSS products, internal applications, and the broader Service Delivery landscape

  • Support the review of proposals as assigned by the Government. Assist with the following coordination of documentation between functional resources, including but not limited to, financial, management, procurement, engineering, and logistics) and assist with the consolidation of their inputs into common documents, and planning for the accomplishment of various program milestones.
  • Support key acquisition events and reviews as needed, such as: System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Technical Coordination Meetings (TCM), Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), milestone documentation development, and others as applicable.
  • Assist in producing or reviewing products for program office use that include business case analyses, trade-off studies, estimates for program office acquisition and logistics requirements, written requirements documents for planned acquisitions, and acquisition strategies and plans.
  • Provide milestone documentation support for documents defined in DoDI 5000.02 and as tailored by the program office and milestone decision authority. Provide a program assessment for integration of documentation to ensure consistency with program strategy and consistency across all milestone documentation. Provide inputs, draft, coordinate (with the appropriate F-15 Division programs and other Government agencies), adjudicate comments, and produce final versions of coordinated milestone documents and assessments. Develop and collect technical data and inputs for staff summary packages to support coordination and signature of all associated documents for milestone approval.
  • Support the development of contract strategies, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and the completion of a program risk assessment to document issues impinging on milestone execution.
  • Provide technical support, plan for, coordinate, and participate in integrated program reviews and conferences, including, but not limited to, executive, readiness, technical, budget, design, weapon system, resource, requirement working groups, supportability, and management reviews.
