Job Description
The Senior Program Manager will provide high-level oversight and strategic direction for a portfolio of foundational digital registry assets. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of services and the successful deployment of clinical software systems. You will act as the primary liaison between technical subject matter experts and executive stakeholders, ensuring that project goals, risks, and schedules are meticulously managed within a complex multi-project environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage and provide oversight for foundational electronic record elements, including client and provider registries and consent management technology assets
Lead the procurement process for services required to support the registry portfolio, ensuring alignment with government standards and organizational needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and gather business requirements
Develop comprehensive status reports, deployment trackers, and executive updates, including the creation of escalation materials for senior leadership
Proactively identify potential risks and conflicts between functional areas
develop and execute mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity
Gather requirements to create and maintain detailed project schedules and integrated portfolio plans using tools like MS Project
Ensure all project documentation is maintained in a central repository and complies with quality management standards and audit requirements
Requirements
8–10 years of experience managing electronic health-related projects, specifically the deployment of clinical software systems
Deep knowledge of project management principles, including goal setting, work package planning, and quality management (PMP certification is highly desired)
5–6 years of experience in program-level reporting and developing high-level materials for executive-level decision-makers
Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects to successful conclusions over a 5–6 year period
3–4 years of experience navigating government procurement processes, specifically managing medium-to-large scale acquisitions
Demonstrated experience with MS Project, MS Teams, and various delivery methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
Strong ability to identify and assess system adoption issues and facilitate implementation within a complex organizational structure
