We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee sophisticated manufacturing programs supporting defense and other highly regulated industries in Arlington, Texas. This position acts as a central point of coordination across customers, technical teams, production, and leadership to keep initiatives aligned with business goals and contractual commitments. The ideal candidate brings strong command of program execution, manufacturing operations, and customer communication in complex, deadline-driven environments.
Job Responsibility
Direct full program lifecycles from early planning and proposal stages through manufacturing launch and production delivery
Guide project performance by managing timelines, budgets, scope changes, and overall execution against customer and internal expectations
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to drive progress and resolve cross-functional issues
Build and maintain detailed schedules, staffing plans, cost projections, and required deliverables for each assigned program
Facilitate customer discussions, leadership updates, and formal status reviews to communicate milestones, risks, and next steps
Contribute to proposal preparation, customer responses, and contract-related activities that support new and ongoing business
Evaluate technical, financial, and operational exposure across programs and implement mitigation plans to reduce disruption
Monitor production readiness and program health to help scale projects from concept development into stable manufacturing operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline
At least 10 years of program or project management experience in complex operational environments
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting the defense sector
Background working with major defense contractors or comparable organizations within highly regulated industries
Demonstrated success taking manufacturing programs from initial development through production ramp-up
Strong knowledge of engineering processes, manufacturing workflows, and program controls
Familiarity with government contracting expectations, quality systems such as ISO 9001, and continuous improvement practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and the ability to travel domestically up to 30%
must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
