Job Description:

The role involves overseeing business and site operations across Australia and New Zealand for Atlassian, driving the successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic site programs. This includes supporting vibrant regional environments, retaining and developing talent, partnering with the community through the Foundation, and establishing strong operational frameworks to improve local sites. The candidate will provide regular updates and analysis, acting as a strategic partner within the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Build vibrant and productive regional environments where teams work harmoniously, united by Atlassian's core values
Retain and develop talent, that raises the bar for Atlassian engineering organization
Build a culture of 'giving back to the community' in the sites, partnering with Foundation advocates
Become a trusted strategic partner through the structure and clarity of your work
Build and own decision-making framework for issues improving the Australian sites
Establish goals and metrics to measure the effectiveness of site leadership efforts
Provide regular updates and reports on efforts, including progress against goals, project status and market insights

Requirements:

Minimum 8+ years of relevant work in business operations, site management, program management, HR, or event planning
Proven experience in geographically distributed companies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including experience with facilitating meetings and engaging with an executive audience)
Experience leading high-impact, programs or projects with a strong sense of urgency and commitment
Demonstrated flexibility and a history of delivering results in a ambiguous and fast-paced work environment
Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done through taking calculated risks and experimenting with new solutions
