Senior Program Manager WORK LOCATION: Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, AL (Montgomery, Alabama) Salary Range: $100-110,000 * *depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications JOB STATUS: Full-time; Salaried Clearance: Secret clearance required Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD. RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but not limited to: Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. DAES, MAR, etc.). Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews. Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management. Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions. Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management. Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices. Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities. Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community. Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews. Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews. Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
