Job Description:

FinXL IT is looking for an experienced Senior Program Change Manager to join our team at a top-tier Insurance organisation. You will be at the helm of a major Motor Claims transformation designed to improve scalability and customer experience. This journey involves shifting to a new segmentation model, deep digitisation, and eventually full automation enabled by core platform upgrades and AI. As the Senior Program Change Manager, you will lead the people side of change. You will design the overarching strategy to bundle messaging, communications, and training for diverse audiences. While you will provide high-level leadership and oversee a change team, this is a "player-coach" role where you will also lean into hands-on stream delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and deliver the overarching program change strategy and communication narrative
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of change resources, including a Change Manager and Learning Designer
  • Impact Analysis: Aggregate and analyse change impact data across multiple streams to ensure program alignment
  • Risk & Readiness: Identify and mitigate people-related risks and evaluate business readiness for "transition to BAU"
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coach and influence senior leaders, working closely with the Program Manager and Execution Office
  • Framework Adherence: Ensure all deliverables align with Agile practices and the established Change Delivery Framework

Requirements:

  • Senior Program Change Manager with a strong general insurance industry background and claims experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of complex organisational change management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change for large, diverse audiences in complex, ambiguous environments
  • Strong capability in driving end-to-end behavioural shifts and operating model transitions
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to create high-level presentations for executive stakeholders
  • A resilient "Ready for Anything" attitude with the ability to hit the ground running
What we offer:
  • Initial 12 months' contract, with a view to extend
  • Located in Sydney CBD
  • Hybrid working arrangements (2-3 days in the office)
  • Drive a landmark transformation project for one of Australia's largest insurers
  • Lead a talented team while staying close to the delivery of cutting-edge AI and automation initiatives
  • Enjoy the support and career opportunities provided by a premier IT professional services consultancy
