We are seeking a talented Senior Production Artist on behalf of our client in the Financial Services industry. Candidates must be commutable to St. Paul, MN (55101). This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option for remote work on Monday and Friday. The Senior Production Artist is responsible for the production and archiving of digital creative assets, ensuring brand compliance and technical accuracy across all marketing materials. This role serves as a vital liaison between designers, project managers, and external vendors to facilitate the timely completion of complex projects.
Job Responsibility
Asset Production: Produce high-quality digital assets involving complex typography, illustrations, and photography across various formats using Adobe Creative Suite
Stakeholder Collaboration: Interpret client revisions and instructions to make precise corrections under strict deadlines, collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and budgets
Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of print and mail projects, providing expert consultation on materials, scheduling, costs, and shipping processes (offset, digital, and dimensional)
Quality Assurance: Review proofs for technical accuracy, quality, and adherence to established brand standards and regulatory requirements
Digital Asset Management: Organize and prepare assets for upload to internal Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, ensuring proper naming conventions and metadata strategy
Accessibility Compliance: Perform specialized PDF and PowerPoint remediation to ensure all documents meet digital accessibility standards for assistive technologies
Requirements
5-10+ years of professional experience in a production art or graphic design environment
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, and Acrobat) and Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Proven experience with PDF and PowerPoint remediation
Working knowledge of CommonLook PDF or equivalent accessibility software
Comprehensive understanding of pre-press, printing processes, and mailing/shipping specifications
Proficiency in Adobe Workfront for project management, task tracking, and reporting
Previous experience navigating the brand and legal requirements of the financial services or banking sector
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
