We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the development and implementation of specific product areas within our Flight Consolidator platform, driving our global flight distribution and commercial strategy.
Job Responsibility:
define and articulate the product vision and strategy for assigned unified international flight consolidator product areas, using data and insights to shape the strategy
drive standardisation of the consolidator business across all markets, establishing a 'deploy once' approach for efficient development
develop comprehensive business cases for new product initiatives and major enhancements to secure stakeholder buy-in
manage all business requirements for product areas, ensuring they align with our objectives
prioritise features and planning roadmaps that align with common cross-solution backlogs
lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with commercial, technology, and operations functions to deliver successful product initiatives
Requirements:
proven experience in product management, preferably within the travel industry or flight distribution sector
successful delivery of complex product initiatives from concept to launch
experience in developing business cases and securing investment for product initiatives
deep understanding of flight distribution systems, GDS platforms, or travel booking technologies
strong analytical skills enable you to translate data into actionable insights
excellent stakeholder management skills allow you to influence at senior levels
strategic thinking with a commercial mindset drives your approach to product development
experience leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment
strong understanding of product management methodologies and best practices
knowledge of multiple GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) is valuable for this position
understanding of airline commercial models and distribution strategies
experience with both B2B and B2C travel platforms
international experience working across multiple markets
