Job Description

The Senior Product Owner – Healthcare Navigation is responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver user-centered healthcare navigation solutions. This role focuses on developing scalable, intuitive digital and human-delivered products that improve member experiences and outcomes. It requires strong expertise in product management, backlog ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborating with Product Leadership to align product strategy, roadmap priorities, and execution objectives
  • Translating strategic initiatives into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog to align with business goals and stakeholder feedback
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, to support team delivery
  • Clarifying business rules, workflows, and edge cases to ensure high-quality product development
  • Partnering with QA teams to ensure test cases align with requirements and validate acceptance criteria
  • Facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding of goals and requirements
  • Supporting enhancements to healthcare navigation solutions by integrating digital tools with human-supported services
  • Tracking sprint progress, delivery outcomes, and incorporating user feedback into backlog updates
  • Contributing to continuous improvement efforts within Agile processes and team workflows

Requirements

  • Demonstrating 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership roles
  • Possessing 3+ years of experience in healthcare, benefits, or digital health product development
  • Building or supporting healthcare navigation, care coordination, or benefits navigation platforms
  • Delivering user-centered digital products that enhance member and client experiences
  • Supporting Agile development teams through backlog management, sprint planning, and ceremonies
  • Writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for product development teams
  • Utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex requirements
