Carex is partnering with a leading BioTech industry partner to identify a Senior Product Manager to support Epic-based product initiatives focused on Revenue and Cash Enhancement. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex needs into scalable solutions within the Epic EMR. The Senior Product Manager owns the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, driving initiatives from intake through delivery while ensuring alignment with business strategy and user needs. This is a hybrid role based in Madison, WI, requiring onsite presence three days per week.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with stakeholders and delivery teams to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Epic-based capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for stakeholder needs while supporting delivery teams with clear direction
Lead structured requirement gathering, documentation, and change management processes, including gap analyses and process flows
Define and monitor KPIs and product performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance through well-defined requirements and testing criteria
Execute implementation plans, contribute to design reviews, and develop standard operating procedures
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, review completed work, and provide feedback to ensure quality delivery
Communicate product strategy, roadmap updates, and progress to stakeholders, including executive audiences
Manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations in a complex, cross-functional environment
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members while contributing to team success
Build strong relationships with business partners and customers to drive satisfaction and alignment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
5+ years of experience in product management or a related role, including leading cross-functional teams
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, product discovery, and product delivery practices
Advanced ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into epics, features, stories, and acceptance criteria
Experience developing product vision, roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies within complex environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a data-driven mindset
Experience defining business processes, user flows, and performance metrics
Familiarity with A/B testing, user research, and conversion analysis
Proven ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, and business leaders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-cultural environment
Nice to have:
Epic Professional Billing certification
Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent)
Experience working within Epic environments, particularly in revenue cycle or billing functions
Background supporting billing, collections, or cash optimization initiatives
