The Senior Product Manager deeply understands the client’s business, user insights, and market landscape, and defines the product vision and strategy on behalf of the client—leading the product from concept to realization. Covering a wide range of digital products such as web platforms, e-commerce, and mobile apps. The Senior Product Manager leads the entire lifecycle including problem discovery, roadmap creation, requirements definition, design, development, and release. Combining strategic thinking with executional excellence, the role collaborates with stakeholders across Client Business, Strategy, Experience Design, and Technology to ensure the product delivers meaningful value. The Senior Product Manager also drives data-informed iteration, serving as the central hub for product growth and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with Strategy and Experience teams to analyze client and user needs, as well as market trends, and define the product vision and value proposition
  • Develop product strategies integrating business objectives, customer experience, and technical requirements (including business cases)
  • Lead the creation and prioritization of the product roadmap
  • Discovery & Requirements Definition: Identify problems and opportunities through user research, data analysis, and competitive analysis
  • Create user stories, requirements, and specifications, translating them into actionable deliverables for development teams
  • Define product requirements aligned with the client's business strategy
  • Product Design & Delivery Leadership: Work closely with designers, engineers, QA, and developers to lead product development
  • Review deliverables, define acceptance criteria, and ensure product quality
  • Support the creation of sprint plans and release plans, enabling a smooth development process
  • Stakeholder Communication: Identify and engage relevant stakeholders for each project
  • Lead communication with clients, internal teams, and business/technical stakeholders
  • Share product status, risks, and changing priorities to facilitate effective decision-making
  • Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Define KPIs and success metrics, driving a data-informed improvement cycle
  • Analyze market and user feedback to guide ongoing product updates
  • Conduct impact assessments and extract insights to prioritize and drive improvements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product or service management
  • Hands-on experience with product strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, and user story creation
  • Experience collaborating with engineers and designers to deliver product outcomes
  • Strong logical thinking and communication skills, including stakeholder management
  • Experience in web, mobile app, e-commerce, or digital marketing projects

Nice to have

  • Business-level English and native-level Japanese communication skills
  • Experience launching or growing B2C products
  • Practical experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Knowledge of personalization, CRM, CDP, or related product areas
  • Understanding of APIs, headless architecture, cloud technologies, or engineering background
