Digital Trust & Safety (DigiTS) is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team in IDC. We are a team of passionate and dedicated product managers, engineers, and data scientists who work on safeguarding against harmful content and conduct that threatens human rights, human wellness, and Microsoft's reputation and legal obligations. DigiTS is a technology provider for all of Microsoft, helping to define the digital safety posture for a vast and global array of services. We develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions that leverage multiple technologies including artificial intelligence and human-in-the-loop systems to detect, prevent, and mitigate harmful content and conduct online.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver measurable business impact across the organization by defining success criteria for multiple feature areas, identifying long‑term investment opportunities, and engaging partners to build alignment and support
Define feature sets in partnership with key stakeholders to capture user requirements and facilitate mid‑level usability reviews with customers
Drive a shared understanding of the Digital Safety solutions provided by DigiTS and how they mitigate Digital Safety risks across Microsoft products
Drive AI-forward product innovation: Embed AI as a core competency in product design and user experience. Move from static specs to rapid experimentation and model-first thinking, applying AI actively in day-to-day workflows
Collaborate with engineering teams, product group partners, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions and architectures that address Digital Safety risks in alignment with Microsoft policies and external regulatory requirements
Partner cross‑functionally to collect performance metrics and validate hypotheses for complex technical needs, driving targeted improvements in product development. Proactively identify features for deprecation, support customer communities, and build trust with priority customers
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and advocacy for Microsoft’s end‑user experience, balancing Digital Safety objectives with privacy, trust, and regulatory expectations
Operate as a remote product leader for our team in North America
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in product management or software development, with at least 2 years in security, compliance, or AI/ML domains
Proven experience in multiple software product development methodologies
Effective cross-group collaboration skills with a proven ability to drive results in cross-functional teams
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Nice to have:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework)
4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn)
4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product)
Experience with enterprise security/compliance solutions
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, or highly regulated environments
Hands-on experience collaborating with data scientists or engineering teams on AI/ML-powered features
Track record of driving AI-first product initiatives and measurable business impact
