The Bing/Search Places team is reimagining how users explore and connect with places through search, maps, and AI‑driven experiences across Microsoft’s ecosystem. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with consumer product and UX instincts who can shape product direction through discovery and drive execution from concept to launch, owning outcomes end‑to‑end. Job Responsibility:

  • Own and evolve end‑to‑end user experiences for Places and Maps scenarios, from problem definition through launch and iteration
  • Deeply understand customer pain points and lead product discovery through user research, data analysis, and partner feedback, translating insights into clear product bets
  • Partner closely with Design, Research, and Engineering to define intuitive user experiences and drive them to delivery
  • Define roadmaps and success metrics, breaking down ambiguous problems into shippable milestones and iterating based on learning
  • Use experimentation to validate hypotheses and inform prioritization and tradeoffs
  • Communicate product direction and outcomes clearly, influencing cross‑functional and cross‑org partners without direct authority
  • Balance long‑term vision with near‑term execution, making pragmatic decisions that maximize customer impact
  • Model Microsoft’s culture and values, fostering inclusiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of product management experience, building and shipping software products OR equivalent experience
  • Experience with consumer‑facing products, such as search, web, or maps
  • Experience owning product areas end-to-end, from problem definition through launch and iteration
