Job Description

The Private Credit Strategic Clients & Projects Senior Product Manager will serve as the primary product and technology expert for large, strategic global clients and high-value prospect engagements across Private Credit. Reporting to the Head of Product – Private Credit, this role is essential to winning, onboarding, and retaining the organization's most important clients by translating complex business requirements into feasible, scalable product solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary product and technology expert for large, strategic global Private Credit clients and prospect engagements, including discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and solution design
  • Partner closely with Sales and Relationship Management teams to understand client needs, articulate product capabilities with credibility, and ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with the strategic product roadmap
  • Lead structured discovery engagements with institutional clients to translate business and operational requirements into clear product inputs, user stories, use cases, and prioritization recommendations in collaboration with the Client Experience lead
  • Balance client-specific requests with platform strategy, applying strategic judgment to determine when configuration or roadmap acceleration is appropriate versus when standard capabilities should be leveraged to maintain scalability
  • Generate and maintain client-specific roadmap views for large, strategic clients, providing tailored presentations of product strategy and delivery timelines that reinforce partnership and transparency
  • Own and optimize the onboarding approach for large migration clients, designing processes and leveraging technology to increase efficiency, reduce time-to-value, and accelerate sales-to-revenue conversion
  • Ensure client commitments and deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and communicated, coordinating across product, engineering, and delivery teams to proactively manage expectations and ensure successful execution
  • Design accelerated solution delivery approaches in partnership with business units, delivery teams, and technology teams, identifying the optimal path (partner/build/buy) to bring new offerings to market quickly and efficiently
  • Validate and explore new product offering potential with Private Credit business units, ensuring strategic alignment and where applicable, integrating validated opportunities into the broader product roadmap and investment priorities
  • Provide deep alternative investment domain expertise across fund structures, asset-level data, financial reporting, and servicing workflows to build credibility and trust with sophisticated institutional clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management or client delivery experience, preferably in financial services technology, with a proven track record of managing complex client engagements and delivering successful outcomes
  • Deep fluency in Private Credit including comprehensive understanding of fund structures, investment workflows, reporting requirements, and institutional client servicing models
  • Demonstrated experience developing or delivering B2B client-facing SaaS solutions, with strong understanding of enterprise software implementation, configuration, and client onboarding best practices
  • Proven expertise facilitating requirements gathering workshops with institutional clients and internal stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable product specifications and user stories
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, system architecture, and AI capabilities, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams and credible conversations about technical feasibility and innovation opportunities
  • Executive presence and communication skills, with extensive experience presenting to and guiding strategic conversations with senior financial services professionals, including C-suite executives, client partners, and high-value prospects
  • Hands-on experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and disciplined agile delivery approaches, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality and predictability
  • Exceptional influence and relationship-building skills, with demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, build trust with both internal teams and external clients, and drive alignment across competing priorities in matrixed environments
