Job Description:

As a strategic leader on the Marriott.com Search Product team, you will shape the future of Digital Search and Discovery for millions of travelers worldwide. Your mission is to define and execute a bold roadmap that transforms how customers find and explore their perfect stay. You’ll lead the execution of high-impact optimizations that deliver measurable value for both customers and the business. In this role, you’ll collaborate across functions to shape the Search and Discovery journey, leveraging technology and industry insights. You’ll join a top-notch M.com team that proudly serves as digital concierges for the “World’s Favorite Travel Company,” delivering personalized experiences in more than 30 languages.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and line-of-business teams as a cross-functional leader to drive execution of product roadmap
  • Produce artifacts such as epics and user stories that support execution of product roadmap
  • Combine data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to inform prioritization of product backlog
  • Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term
  • Must collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams including, but not limited to: scrum, infrastructure, API, and QA to drive delivery
  • Define A/B and/or multi-variate tests to validate new ideas and features
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing per release requirements
  • Coordinate backlog for defect resolution. Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, wireframes, product requirements to support development
  • Help define new product features or optimizations of existing products, and incorporate them into the roadmap
  • Define products and services that deliver frictionless and innovative experiences
  • Create concise, compelling business cases that lead to buy-in from managers and seniors leaders

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, related major, or equivalent experience/education
  • 6+ years’ experience in digital products/technology, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
  • 3+ years’ product management experience
  • 1+ years’ eCommerce experience

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrable experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment
  • Ability to produce artifacts such as product requirements documents, epics, and user stories that are actionable and clear for cross-functional team members
  • Ability to see the big picture and break down product delivery into manageable technical implementations while delivering value and moving towards the final goal
  • Ability to clearly convey a product vision, business objective, or status update to peers and leaders alike
  • Ability to use strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to brainstorm solutions with different functions
  • Strong ability to synthesize insights such as competitive analysis, product performance data, or user research to identify opportunities that inform the product roadmap
  • Experience with Adobe Suite including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, and Adobe Target
  • Digital product experience driving successful business outcomes for commerce products in any industry, with preference for travel and hospitality
  • Experience creating features or products that address the diverse needs of global customers
  • General understanding of technical concepts, including, but not limited to how APIs can be leveraged to build new features or products
