As a Senior Product Manager for Private Equity, you will serve as the strategic leader responsible for developing and executing innovative platform capabilities that serve the alternatives market. In this role, you will oversee the complete product lifecycle—from market research and business planning through go-to-market execution and client adoption—while directly managing a team of business analysts and product owners.
Job Responsibility:
Lead new private equity platform capabilities for the alternatives market
Manage product activities including business plan development, go-to-market, build estimation and execution, sales enablement, client management and internal reporting
Initiate market-facing design sprints resulting in clear build priorities, clickable prototype, technical architecture and MVP business case
Directly manage business analysts and product owners focused on data and analytics products
Align team activities, strategies, responsibilities, and objectives with the firm's strategic direction
Develop a deep understanding of customers (internal and external) and the alternatives industry to translate the market needs, trends and solutions into prioritized roadmaps
Support sales efforts for late-stage large client opportunities
Work with product marketing to generate product trainings, client trainings and other relevant materials
Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships across divisions, regional teams and stakeholders
Create framework and enable regular reporting, metrics and success criteria for products and the product team
Manage team using agile product management principles, ensuring shared understanding of strategic goals and roadmap priorities
Requirements:
Deep experience in financial services, with a preference for experience in and/or exposure to Private Equity
