Mozilla is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of user-facing privacy experiences in the Firefox browser. This role is responsible for shaping how millions of people experience privacy and protection directly within Firefox while also seamlessly integrating complementary tools like Firefox Relay and Mozilla Monitor. You will define how these products work together to make privacy effortless, intuitive, and genuinely valuable for users of all technical backgrounds.
Job Responsibility:
Define and drive the multi-year product strategy for Firefox Relay, Mozilla Monitor, and Firefox privacy experiences, setting clear goals and aligning cross-functional teams on a shared vision of privacy made simple
Own product outcomes end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to delivery, iteration, and measurement of success
Bridge the gap between privacy and convenience, ensuring user trust while reducing friction in understanding and protecting personal information online
Transform complex technical concepts into intuitive, approachable experiences that make privacy and security feel empowering rather than intimidating
Integrate our privacy tools into the Firefox ecosystem to create seamless, intuitive experiences across products that expand user engagement and retention
Use data and user research to guide priorities, inform decisions, and refine product direction
Collaborate across disciplines including Engineering, UX, Data Science, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Experience to prioritize work, resolve ambiguity, and deliver high-quality outcomes
Advocate for users by leveraging research, behavioral insights, and empathy to shape experiences that simplify complexity and spark user delight
Requirements:
Proven experience leading impactful consumer-facing products, ideally in privacy, security, identity, finance, or similarly technical domains
Strong ability to make the complex simple, translating deep and technical topics into clear, human-centered experiences that users easily understand and trust
Strong UX sensibilities and a passion for intuitive, elegant, and accessible experiences that excite users and reduce friction
Demonstrated ability to set and communicate strategy, aligning near-term decisions with long-term goals and Mozilla’s mission
Expertise in using data and user research to guide priorities, measure results, and improve outcomes
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively with Engineering, UX, Data Science, and Marketing partners
Excellent strategic and analytical skills, capable of connecting business, user, and technical considerations into a cohesive product vision
Proven leadership and influence, guiding complex discussions, resolving ambiguity, and aligning diverse stakeholders
Deep empathy for users and a passion for protecting people online, combined with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics into elegant, approachable solutions
Goal and metrics oriented, skilled at setting measurable objectives and driving accountability toward impact
