Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, EHR Platform to own our EHR integrations as a strategic product surface. This role is responsible for shaping how we work with EHR platforms as our customer base, product capabilities, and market presence continue to grow. You will own our integrations with Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, MEDITECH, and others, ensuring they are reliable, compliant, and scalable, while also evolving how these partnerships operate as our ecosystem and product matures. This includes balancing strong working relationships with clear product direction and long-term platform thinking. This is a senior, high-judgment role. You’ll be trusted to navigate complex partner environments, represent customer needs with confidence, and make thoughtful tradeoffs that support both near-term execution and sustained platform value. Your work will directly impact customer launches, deal velocity, and how our product integrates into clinical workflows at scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for our EHR platform and integrations (Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, MEDITECH, and others)
  • Define where we partner deeply with EHRs, where we differentiate, and how we evolve as the ecosystem changes
  • Translate customer needs, commercial priorities, and competitive dynamics into clear product direction and execution plans
  • Partner closely with Engineering to deliver integrations that are dependable, scalable, and strategically aligned
  • Ensure integrations meet healthcare compliance and security requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, interoperability standards such as HL7/FHIR)
  • Establish standards for reliability, data quality, and performance across the EHR platform
  • Anticipate and address scale challenges as adoption, data volume, and use cases expand
  • Manage day-to-day product relationships with EHR vendors and integration partners
  • Coordinate certification efforts, roadmap alignment, and platform changes with external partners
  • Represent product priorities clearly and professionally in vendor discussions
  • Work with Partnerships, Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to support deals and customer launches
  • Clearly articulate integration capabilities, constraints, and roadmap direction to the field
  • Incorporate customer and market feedback into ongoing product evolution and positioning

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of platform or integration-focused products
  • Direct experience working with EHR systems or building EHR integrations (required)
  • Experience managing external partners in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams on API-driven, data-intensive, or infrastructure-heavy products
  • Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and regulated systems
  • Proven ability to balance execution rigor with longer-term platform and ecosystem thinking
  • Clear, confident communicator who can represent product strategy internally and externally
  • A pragmatic, decisive approach to tradeoffs across speed, quality, and strategic leverage

What we offer

  • Generous Time Off: 14 paid holidays, flexible PTO for salaried employees, and accrued time off for hourly employees
  • Comprehensive Health Plans: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for all full-time employees and their families
  • Generous HSA Contribution: If you choose a High Deductible Health Plan, Abridge makes monthly contributions to your HSA

  • Pre-tax Benefits: Access to Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Commuter Benefits
  • Lifestyle Wallet: Monthly contributions for fitness, professional development, coworking, and more
  • Mental Health Support: Dedicated access to therapy and coaching to help you reach your goals
  • Sabbatical Leave: Paid Sabbatical Leave after 5 years of employment
  • Compensation and Equity: Competitive compensation and equity grants for full time employees
