As a Senior Product Manager on the Outlook team, you will help shape experiences that define how the world communicates, collaborates, and gets things done. Your work will directly impact one of Microsoft's most visible and business-critical products. This role has a specific emphasis on the Classic Outlook product (although all Outlook product managers are expected to think holistically about delivering consistent experiences across all Outlooks--Windows, Mac, Web, iOS, Android). This role requires significant cross-time zone collaboration with engineering teams in India. The preferred work location for this position is on-site in Redmond, WA. Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and ship high-quality product experiences for Classic Outlook, using strategic thinking and customer empathy to prioritize what matters most for hundreds of millions of users.
  • Drive work from concept to delivery, partnering across design, engineering, and data science to bring new capabilities to Outlook.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams in India, building effective cross-geography relationships and ensuring alignment on priorities, quality, and timelines.
  • Think holistically across the Outlook clients on all platforms to deliver consistent, seamless experiences that work for end users, IT administrators, and business stakeholders.
  • Navigate complex requirements from internal and external partners who depend on Outlook, serving as a bridge across organizational boundaries.
  • Champion a team culture rooted in respect, accountability, and integrity, contributing to an environment where everyone can thrive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Experience shipping user facing consumer or enterprise products at scale to large user bases.
  • Experience building systems using Agentic systems (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot).
  • Experience working with teams that build WIN32 applications.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management in a complex organization.
