Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager for App Studio and Marketplace, you will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for Zip’s App Studio (Zip’s proprietary low-code integration and agent workflow builder) and the emerging Marketplace. You will shape the platform that powers how Zip connects to 3rd party systems; define how partners and customers build, deploy, and extend integrations; and drive an ecosystem that accelerates value for our largest enterprise customers. This is a highly cross-functional and technically deep role responsible for advancing our low-code integration platform, enabling partner-built templates, and establishing Zip’s Marketplace as a core product differentiator.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and lead the product strategy for App Studio and the Marketplace
  • Translate complex problems into intuitive, repeatable, and low-code/AI-assisted configuration experiences
  • Collaborate deeply with engineering and design to define requirements, provide product direction, make tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality platform capabilities and UX
  • Partner with Technical Solutions Consultants and Partners to understand real-world integration patterns, identify reusable components, and increase build-time efficiency
  • Lead product discovery through customer and partner research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence
  • Enable internal and external stakeholders (Sales, TSC, partners) with documentation, best practices, enablement guides, and solution blueprints

Requirements

  • 4-8+ years of Product Management experience
  • 2+ years building platforms in at least one of the following domains: integrations, workflow automation, iPaaS, low-code/no-code builders, or developer platforms
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns (APIs, webhooks, event frameworks, data transformation, error handling, OAuth/credential flows, schema mapping)
  • Demonstrated ability to ship high-scale platform capabilities with strong technical intuition and fluency in system architecture and data flows
  • Experience building marketplaces, partner ecosystems, or extension frameworks where external developers build on top of the platform
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive product experiences for both technical and non-technical users
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across engineering, design, sales, customer teams, and partner teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and level of detail to diverse technical and non-technical audiences
  • Bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to operate in a fast-growing, rapidly evolving environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP or finance/procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, MS Dynamics) is preferred
  • Experience with AI-assisted tooling (e.g., generative configuration, automated mapping) is a plus

What we offer

  • Start-up equity
  • Full health, vision & dental coverage
  • Catered lunches & dinners for SF employees
  • Commuter benefit
  • Team building events & happy hours
  • Flexible PTO
  • Apple equipment plus home office budget
  • 401k plan
