Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Product Manager to join our hardware team at NetApp. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our media hardware products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure our products meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for media hardware products
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs
  • Define product requirements and specifications based on market insights and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality product development
  • Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for their needs and preferences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA is a plus
  • 15+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the hardware or technology industry
  • Strong understanding of media hardware products and market dynamics
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
