Adyen is looking for a Senior Product Experience (PX) to join our international PX team, with members located in Amsterdam, Chicago, and Madrid. Your primary focus will be providing the overarching design services and products, such as Homepage, Navigation, Communication Platform, Notification, Supporting ticket, Help & Education, and design system.
Job Responsibility:
Deeply understand and own the user experience (UX) for complex product ecosystems. Strategically incorporate advanced technology (such as AI) to enhance customer experience where it delivers measurable value, and align design solutions directly with quantifiable customer goals, rigorous business objectives, and identified user needs
Partner closely with Product, Technology, and Data Analytics teams to jointly define and articulate a cohesive short-term tactical roadmap and a compelling long-term strategic vision for our products
Leverage and champion advanced data-driven insights (qualitative and quantitative) to design simple, intuitive, and highly accessible interfaces. Lead by example in fostering a data-informed culture while solving sophisticated user problems with elegant solutions that measurably drive impactful business initiatives and elevate overall product quality
Proactively raise the bar for quality across the product experience, spanning design, research, and content, while streamlining processes and maximizing team efficiency to help Adyen reach its full potential
Actively seek feedback and foster co-creation with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Product, Operations) throughout the product experience design lifecycle. Drive strategic improvements by maintaining high transparency and continuous learning
Strategically document and share work in progress, ensuring maximum transparency and maintaining critical alignment across all dependent teams
Effectively articulate solution decisions, methodologies, and the tangible value they deliver to the PX team, cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Data Analytics), and senior business stakeholders
Mentor, coach, and inspire fellow team members by setting new, elevated standards of design quality and actively driving strategic knowledge sharing across the entire organization
Requirements:
A Bachelor or Master Degree in interaction (product) design or related fields (including information design, conversational AI, etc)
Have 5+ years of experience designing complex hardware/software solutions, preferably in SaaS or B2B products, with a proven ability to simplify intricate workflows and enhance user experiences
