Job Description

Adyen is looking for a Senior Product Experience (PX) Designer to join our international PX team. You will be joining the Financial Products team. We are responsible for building the financial backbone for the world’s leading platforms. As the lines between payments and banking blur, Adyen offers financial products like Accounts, Capital, and Issuing to enterprise platforms. In this role, you will move beyond standard interface design to solve for high-stakes financial workflows. You will partner with product managers and engineers to define the strategic direction of our financial suite, turning complex business logic into clarity for enterprise users.

Job Responsibility

  • Deeply understand and own the user experience (UX) for complex product ecosystems
  • Take ownership of broad, undefined problem spaces within the financial domain
  • Partner closely with Product, Technology, and Data Analytics teams to jointly define and articulate a cohesive short-term tactical roadmap and a compelling long-term strategic vision for our products
  • Drive data-informed enterprise design, leveraging insights to design for the specific needs of B2B and enterprise users
  • Proactively raise the bar for quality across the product experience, spanning design, research, and content, while streamlining processes and maximizing team efficiency
  • Effectively articulate solution decisions, methodologies, and the tangible value they deliver to the PX team, cross-functional partners, and senior business stakeholders
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire fellow team members by setting new, elevated standards of design quality and actively driving strategic knowledge sharing across the entire organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in interaction (product) design or related fields (including information design, conversational AI, etc)
  • 8+ years of experience designing complex hardware/software solutions, preferably in SaaS or B2B products, with a proven ability to simplify intricate workflows and enhance user experiences
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with business banking, fintech, or enterprise financial services is an asset
  • Systems Thinking: You excel at seeing the big picture. You can map out intricate user journeys that span ecosystems, ensuring consistency and logic across the entire platform
  • A strong sense of mission: Taking responsibility for the success of the company and our customers by setting high standards, taking ownership, and fostering collaboration
  • Thriving through uncertainties: Embracing new challenges and shifting landscapes with a positive outlook, we adapt swiftly and effectively
  • Action with intent: At the heart of design is solving meaningful problems—whether emotional, practical, or social. We focus on identifying what truly matters and crafting solutions that drive measurable business and user outcomes
