Job Description

Senior Product engineer within the Supply chain/operations group working on Hybrid Cloud products delivering new product introductions to our manufacturing operations, drive Early Engineering Engagement to influence product design, NPI implementation and released product support. Assists in architecture development and assessment. Contributions impact technical components of Hybrid Cloud products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainably.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and direct supply chain engineering deliverables
  • Ensure all needed supply chain procedures, methods, bill of materials and tests are in place to deliver new Hybrid Cloud Products and solutions
  • Define, setup, and validate new Hybrid products during the NPI process
  • Triage and drive root cause/corrective actions during NPI programs or released product support
  • Track program quality goals and product quality during NPI and post CTR
  • Resolve issues impacting orders and product performance
  • Drive design for manufacturability and test based on feedback from prior generation products and supply chain partners
  • Work with R&D partners on architectural improvements
  • Define manufacturing test process requirements
  • Define requirements for product ordering tools and validate implementation
  • Create and implement Manufacturing Verification Build plan
  • Lead and support multiple project teams
  • Drive innovation and integrate new technologies
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff
  • Support assurance of supply and factory/customer quality issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Typically 6-10 years experience in manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) or product engineering
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in overall architecture/design of hardware/firmware/software for products and solutions
  • Experience with supply chain/operations new product setup and released product support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • mastery in English and Spanish
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues suggesting proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels
