Job Responsibility

Lead an engineering team in the product development process of transfer case (or related product ) mechanical hardware for customer 4WD applications
Analyzing the customer requirements ensuring the product meets performance, packaging and serviceability requirements, and in the resolution of open issues
Developing proposals for the mechanical hardware & supporting the estimation process for new business opportunities
Performing mechanical hardware system level design
Providing direction for or issuing CAE/NVH requests, as needed, for analysis of assemblies and components
Leading a team in the creation and maintenance of mechanical hardware assembly/system level DFMEAs
The development and monitoring of ADVP&R's
Issuing lab work orders providing direction for builds, tests, component modifications, and inspection

BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with significant industry experience in mechanical engineering, product engineering, manufacturing support, or hardware productization
Technical Leadership Experience - Extensive experience serving as a technical lead in a large, fast-paced engineering environment
Technical Experience - Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, design for manufacturability, tolerance management, and how mechanical features translate into manufacturing and production test requirements
