Job Description

Mastercard Developers is the single entry point for Mastercard partners to access a diverse range of payment, data, loyalty, and security APIs. Our team is responsible for delivering an experience that ensures developers can quickly find the right API, assess its technical capabilities, and integrate it into new and innovative solutions. The Mastercard Developers team is looking for a product developer to join our team to enhance and scale our developer platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the end-to-end product development and delivery lifecycle through collaboration with an international cross functional team including engineering, QA, UX, and infrastructure teams
  • Take customer requirements and develop impactful, scalable platform features including those leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver value and help progress our API and AI strategy
  • Translate complex business, technical, and AI-related requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories
  • Incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders in Corporate Security, Legal, Data Privacy, etc. to ensure features are delivered with highest standards
  • Support defining and tracking key performance indicators for the API program
  • Manage and prioritize a feature backlog with deep understanding of customers, Mastercard, market dynamics and emerging AI technologies
  • Lead agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate product decisions to stakeholders at all levels

Requirements

  • Experienced product developer proficient in writing features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Have a technical foundation through either a Computer Science/Engineering degree or professional programming background, with demonstrated experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science
  • Experience prioritizing and maintaining a product backlog
  • Advanced skills in analysis, requirements gathering, and evaluating AI solutions for business impact
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated consistent success working closely with an agile team and partners across other functions
  • Self-starter and problem solver who can function independently and take on challenging opportunities
