The Senior Product Designer is a highly independent, experienced individual contributor who owns complex design problems end to end and drives high-impact outcomes across our SaaS product portfolio (including Denticon, Cloud9, and Apteryx). This role goes beyond feature execution—Senior Product Designers translate customer and market insights into cohesive, scalable product experiences, while balancing usability, technical feasibility, and business priorities. You may mentor junior designers and serve as a design leader within your product area, helping raise the bar for craft, systems thinking, and customer-centered decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Own design for complex features or product modules from discovery through delivery, including interaction models, workflows, and visual execution
Translate customer research, data, and business goals into thoughtful, user-centered design solutions
Partner deeply with Product Managers and Engineers to define problems, explore solutions, and make informed trade-offs across design, technical, and business constraints
Lead and contribute to user research activities, usability testing, and synthesis
apply insights to improve adoption, satisfaction, and consistency
Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma, leveraging and contributing to our design system to ensure quality and scalability
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, clearly articulating the “why” and building alignment across teams
Mentor and support junior designers through feedback, critique, and guidance on process and craft
Contribute to the evolution of design standards, patterns, and best practices across the product organization
Requirements:
5–7+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS, B2B, or complex software environments
Demonstrated ability to independently drive moderately to highly complex design initiatives with ambiguous requirements
Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking, systems-level problem solving, and high-quality execution
Deep understanding of UX patterns, accessibility standards, responsive design, and interaction design principles
Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and navigating trade-offs to deliver customer and business value
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions to designers, engineers, product leaders, and executives
Comfort operating in fast-paced, agile environments with evolving priorities
Ability to connect design decisions to measurable business outcomes such as adoption, usability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
