Job Description:

As a Senior Product Designer on the Bumble BFF Design team, you’ll lead design work for meaningful product initiatives that help millions of members form and grow real friendships. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and research to turn complex problems into intuitive experiences, while role-modeling Bumble values like Curiosity, Courage, and Respect through your craft and collaboration. This role blends strong individual ownership with thoughtful influence — helping shape the product while continuously raising the quality of how we design and build together, including through responsible use of AI-powered tools.

Job Responsibility:

Own end-to-end design for key BFF initiatives
Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems, explore opportunities, and deliver solutions
Lead design discovery and execution across the full process
Apply strong systems thinking to ensure designs are consistent, scalable, and aligned with Bumble’s broader design language
Use AI-powered design and research tools to accelerate exploration, prototype ideas, and synthesize insights
Communicate design rationale clearly and confidently
Collaborate cross-functionally, take ownership of your work, and adapt plans with an agile mindset
Champion inclusive design practices and role-model Bumble values

Requirements:

Typically requires 6–8 years of experience
Strong experience designing consumer-facing digital products
Deep skills in interaction design, visual design, and UX principles
Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and researchers
Experience using AI tools to support design workflows, research synthesis, or ideation
A clear, empathetic communicator
