Job Description:

Reimagine and craft designs for products that make a difference to Sysco’s 400,000+ customers, and internal employees. Deliver optimal product designs and user experiences for new products through expanding style guides and pattern libraries, as well as contributing to the design language for Sysco products. Deliver on design process and resources with minimal technical oversight with deep knowledge on a single product.

Job Responsibility:

Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and product launches
Drive design alignment efforts across the organization and with stakeholders to create a fit with strategic vision and coordinate through execution
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, anticipating and prioritizing the needs stakeholders
Proactively brainstorm initial design concepts with cross-functional teams to being product requirements to fruition
Engage in user-based research throughout the design process
Represent the design team as a subject matter expert across cross-functional teams
Solicit and incorporate constructive feedback from stakeholders with a flexible and open approach to work, while maintaining a level of accountability and ownership for deliverables
Edit and provide feedback on product materials to team members
Guide and junior members of the team
Maintain a presence in the broader Product Design community
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in visual design, human-computer interaction, industrial design or related, or equivalent work experience
6 years’ experience in product design or related field
Experience with Figma and Prototyping
Experience in an agile development environment.

Nice to have:

8 years’ experience in visual design, human-computer interaction, industrial design or related field
Design experience for mobile, tablet and web products
Experience delivering wireframes, prototypes and dev-ready high-fidelity designs
Experience in a start-up environment.
