In this role, we offer a different mandate: Total Ecosystem Ownership. We are looking for a Product Designer to architect the next generation of the Airtame app interface. Because we are a hybrid hardware-software company, your canvas isn't just a browser — it's the interaction between physical screens, desktop applications (Mac/Windows/Linux), mobile devices, and the web. Airtame is a platform for shared screens across education and business. It lets people share their screen, join video calls, and show content on any display — wirelessly, from any device and operating system. IT teams manage everything via Airtame Cloud, and the platform works with both Airtame and Airtame-enabled third-party hardware. Founded in Denmark in 2013, Airtame is built for real-world environments with mixed tech, and is used in thousands of schools and workplaces globally.
Job Responsibility:
Architect the next generation of the Airtame app interface
Design the interaction between physical screens, desktop applications (Mac/Windows/Linux), mobile devices, and the web
Lead the design of our next-generation interface, creating a seamless visual and functional thread that connects our Web, Mobile, and Desktop experiences
Improve error and recovery handling
Guide the user with clarity and calm when hardware/network connections fail
Take ownership of our component library
Be the ambassador for the system, ensuring developers can build consistent, high-quality flows
Establish a rhythm of user research and testing that validates problems before we write code
Requirements:
4+ years of experience designing complex digital products
Experience designing elegantly for both touch screens and the web
Experience with native Desktop apps (Mac/Windows) is a big plus
Ability to confidently lead the entire design lifecycle — from researching the initial problem to delivering pixel-perfect UI assets
Ability to explain complex interaction models to stakeholders
Strong eye for aesthetics with a priority on clarity
Experience managing company-wide design systems with Figma or similar design tools: components, layouts, project structuring, and workflows
