Job Description

At JFrog, we're reinventing DevOps to help the world's greatest companies innovate — and we want you along for the ride. Thousands of customers, including the majority of the Fortune 100, trust JFrog to manage, accelerate, and secure their software delivery from code to production — a concept we call 'liquid software.' It's a unique place: brilliant people, real spirit, and a mission that matters. If you're willing to do more, your career can take off here. At JFrog ML, we're building the Trust Layer for the Agentic World. As AI agents become part of how the world's largest companies operate, we secure the AI supply chain behind them, giving enterprises the visibility and control to deploy AI at scale, safely. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the world's leading AI management platform. You'll turn complex, technical problems into experiences that feel simple, intuitive, and accessible. You'll work day-to-day on a product squad alongside PMs, engineers, writers, and data analysts, and you'll be part of our company-wide Design Guild, shaping the craft across JFrog.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the full design process, from discovery through pixel-perfect UI
  • Tackle some of the most complex product challenges on the JFrog ML platform
  • Lead discovery and validation through usability testing, user interviews, and data analysis
  • Champion a user-centered, data-backed approach within your squad
  • Improve design workflows and lead platform-wide initiatives that raise the bar
  • Collaborate closely with other designers, sharing expertise and best practices
  • Contribute to our Design System to keep the platform experience seamless

Requirements

  • 5+ years of in-house experience as a Product or UX/UI Designer
  • A track record at a large-scale B2B or B2C company shipping complex SaaS products
  • Strong grounding in user-centered design methodologies
  • Experience defining and leading design processes as a UCD champion
  • Comfort designing for technical domains, ideally in software development or developer tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • High proficiency in Figma: UI design, prototyping, and working within Design Systems
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating senior-level product design craft — clear thinking, refined UI, and well-articulated design decisions connected to user and business outcomes
  • An AI-powered design workflow that's part of your daily practice — ideally including experience prompting tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants to accelerate prototyping, spec generation, or design-to-code workflows (no coding required — the ability to direct these tools with precision is what matters)
  • Proven ability to influence PM, Engineering, Design, and executive stakeholders — you know how to build alignment, navigate ambiguity, and advocate for quality without needing formal authority
  • The habit of leading with a perspective — you don't wait to be told what the right answer is
  • you form a view, pressure-test it, and bring it confidently into the room
  • A genuine curiosity about emerging trends at the intersection of AI and design — and the ability to translate that curiosity into practice, not just conversation
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, agile pod teams with engineers and PMs — you can move quickly, iterate in the open, and maintain quality under pressure

Requirements
  • Have 5+ years of product design experience, with the seniority to own complex work from discovery through shipped product
  • Start with the problem, not the screen, and have shipped work where discovery shaped the outcome
  • Have designed complex digital products end to end, with work you can walk through and explain
  • Have a portfolio that shows clear thinking, polished UI, and real outcomes rather than well-composed screens
  • Move fluidly between early discovery, rough prototypes, high-fidelity execution, and hands-on iteration with engineers
  • Treat prototyping as a way to think, test, and align, not just a deliverable to produce
  • Already work AI-native, with real opinions about where Claude Code or similar tools help and where they get in the way
  • Are a designer who builds, not one who hands off
  • Are solid across UX, interaction, IA, and visual design, with the technical curiosity to understand how the product behaves, not only how it looks
  • Bring high ownership and low ego, and can drive your own work forward while the team and product are still forming
Job Responsibility

  • Run discovery for your product area: talk to customers, dig into the problem, map workflows, and decide what's worth building before committing to a build
  • Become a domain expert for your part of the product, with a strong understanding of users, workflows, constraints, and business goals
  • Choose the right tool for each question: proper research when it warrants it, session data or support insights when that's enough, and a fast prototype when that answers it sooner
  • Own user flows, interactions, and interfaces from first discovery through to shipped product
  • Design for expert users doing complex work, making powerful workflows feel clear, fast, and simple enough to use every day

  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmap with your PM and the rest of the team
