The Senior Product Designer role will have a key role in shaping the design and user experience across both B2C and B2B platforms of our client, a leading property portal client. This role demands full ownership of the design lifecycle, from initial discovery through to final delivery, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement solutions with significant impact. As a senior contributor, you will work within the design team, actively shaping the design strategy and ensuring product outcomes successfully balance consumer requirements with critical business objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end-to-end design process for the business unit’s products (both B2B and B2C), including problem discovery, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and final delivery
Set the standard for design excellence within the team
Champion consumer needs and advocate for user-centered design practices throughout the product development process
Create compelling and effective design solutions that address both user pain points and business objectives
Work closely with product managers, researchers, engineers, and other designers to deliver top-quality products
Lead cross-functional design activities, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking
Identify key user problems and opportunities, using research and data to inform design decisions
Develop and iterate on solutions that elevate the overall user experience of B2C and B2B products
Contribute to the design strategy for the business unit product suite, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience across web and mobile platforms
Partner with other design teams to align on a unified design vision for all products
Lead design iterations based on user feedback and data, testing prototypes to refine and validate design solutions
Ensure designs are optimized for both usability and visual appeal
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in product design, user experience, or a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and delivering successful digital products in a fast-paced environment
Strong expertise in product discovery, user experience design, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
Experience in using data and research to drive design decisions
Ability to think strategically about design’s role in achieving business goals and user needs
Experience in contributing to and executing design strategies within a product team
Excellent communication skills with a talent for building relationships and working effectively within cross-functional teams
Comfortable presenting and defending design decisions to stakeholders
Experience in mentoring and guiding other designers
A results-oriented mindset with the ability to independently lead projects from conception to completion
A keen eye for the nuances that make designs polished and impactful
