Job Description:

Join us in building the future of finance. Our mission is to democratize finance for all. The Money Movement team is responsible for how customers move funds and assets into, out of, and across Robinhood products, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. We’re also the team helping customers track their overall portfolio while learning about compelling offers to bring assets to the platform. This team focuses on reliability, clarity, and trust, ensuring customers understand where their assets are, which actions they can take, and what to expect at every step. The work directly supports both everyday financial needs and long-term investing goals! As a Senior Product Designer focused on money and asset movement, you’ll own complex, high-impact workflows that sit at the core of the customer experience. You’ll define interaction models, system behaviors, and detailed UI patterns that support accuracy, compliance, and ease of use at scale. Your work will shape how millions of customers safely and confidently move their money and assets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design end-to-end money movement experiences, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and portfolio tracking, with a focus on clarity, reliability, and customer trust
  • Lead design work across the full product lifecycle, from early problem definition through detailed execution and launch
  • Partner closely with product management, engineering, content design, research, and compliance partners to deliver solutions that meet user needs and regulatory requirements
  • Translate complex financial and technical constraints into clear interaction patterns and intuitive interfaces
  • Explore multiple design approaches through flows, wireframes, and prototypes, then refine toward high-quality, production-ready designs
  • Define success metrics with partners and use customer feedback and data to iterate and improve shipped experiences

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex systems or platform-level workflows
  • A portfolio that shows strong interaction design, systems thinking, and attention to detail in real-world products
  • Experience designing transactional or high-stakes user flows where accuracy, timing, and user understanding are critical
  • Experience using AI tools as part of your design workflow
  • Comfort working through ambiguity by breaking problems into clear, actionable steps
  • A collaborative working style that values clear communication, feedback, and shared accountability
What we offer:
  • Performance-driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents
  • Lifestyle wallet — a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces
