Join Barclays as a Senior Product and Proposition Manager – CHAPS & Higher Value Payments, where you’ll be accountable for the end-to-end strategy, performance, and evolution of our CHAPS and high-value payment propositions. This pivotal role places you at the heart of our payments transformation—owning customer limits management and ensuring high-value domestic and international payment journeys are safe, compliant, resilient, and customer-centric. You’ll balance regulatory obligations with the delivery of outstanding customer outcomes, supporting Barclays’ payments, liquidity, and digital transformation strategies.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the end-to-end strategy, performance, and evolution of our CHAPS and high-value payment propositions
  • Own customer limits management
  • Ensure high-value domestic and international payment journeys are safe, compliant, resilient, and customer-centric
  • Balance regulatory obligations with the delivery of outstanding customer outcomes
  • Support Barclays’ payments, liquidity, and digital transformation strategies

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of working with and managing a broad range of stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Experience in payments product management banking, dealing with pricing, regulatory attestations and operational resilience
  • Considerable understanding of Customer journey management and improvement
  • Experience of using data to make decisions and recommendations
  • AGILE delivery experience
  • Considerable background in risk and control frameworks
  • Proven ability to operate in a highly regulated environment

Nice to have

  • Experience with high-value international payments and urgent cross-border flows
  • Exposure to payments platform modernisation or journey digitisation
  • Demonstrable presentation skills
