Job Responsibility:
Source, research, and produce compelling content for multiple platforms, including assisting with graphics and preparing clear briefs for shoots
Work closely with reporters, editors, camera crews, and host Ally Langdon to develop and deliver high-quality stories
Uphold A Current Affair's reputation for trust and integrity by ensuring all content meets our high ethical standards
Proactively monitor news, trends, and current events to identify relevant stories and source talent that resonates with the audience
Investigate everyday issues and drive the production of quality content that is relevant to the audience and has a national impact
Requirements:
A journalism degree or comparable professional experience, with proven years in broadcast television
Solid network of national contacts and a deep understanding of news platforms, with the ability to identify and secure compelling content and talent
Proven experience in leveraging new platforms and creative storytelling to increase audience engagement
Comfortable excelling both independently and within a team, consistently delivering high-quality content under pressure
Passion for news and current affairs, and a commitment to developing impactful stories on critical issues
Proficiency in ENPS and Avid server systems is beneficial
